Tweed Heads lies just south of the Queensland/New South Wales border. Queensland’s Coolangatta is a stone’s throw across the border.
Tweed Heads is well developed and boasts some great licensed clubs if you’re in the mood for a bit of a flutter. These clubs also have an array of big name entertainers year round.
The beaches at Tweed Heads are extremely well maintained and are quite a rival for the nearby Surfers Paradise.
