“A truly beautiful place which exudes TLC, peace & serenity. Terry has stayed at exotic resorts all over the world, but nothing as relaxing or as comfortable as this. It lacks for nothing. A perfect place for R&R. We enjoyed the total ambit of experiences – beautiful sunny days, refreshment of cool wine in the spa,, warmth of the fire on a chilly night, serendipity of rain on the roof, fragrance of the gardens, shadows over hills & clouds in the valley. Our hosts were warm & unobtrusive. What more can we ask”

“Wollumbin Palms Retreat is the most amazingly unique accomodation we have ever stayed in! The service is brilliant (and was much needed and appreciated at the time as we were surrounded by flooding rivers and couldn’t leave the property!) The owners extra time and thought into helping make our break as comfortable as possible was much appreciated. They went to their utmost to make our break as wonderful as possible given the severe weather conditions. The property itself is exquisite, as is the accomodation lodges, and we don’t think you will find a place anywhere on earth as beautiful and unique.”

The service was wonderful,the accommodation serene and like a sanctuary; the food was five star (we couldn’t eat it all but it was excellent); we adopted the family dog (Tilly) & became friends with the owners. “We booked a room using the last minute rates. We didn’t expect the best room however the room was noisy and the bed was very uncomfortable. We have stayed at other hotels using last minute rates and the rooms have been a lot nicer. We will not return the Mantra based on this experience.”

“We had such a lovelly stay. The cabin was fully equiped with everything we needed to stay in or explore the area (it even had a picnic set to take out or down to the creek onsite). The service was excellent, we knew we could contact the office at any time but we were left to ourselves the entire time. It was just the perfect way honeymoon!!! and both being students it was very affordable.”

“Attention to detail was fantastic, everyting you could need was there! Even DVD’s & boardgames we hadn’t played for years! We instantly felt calm as soon as we walked into the cottage. “We had a fantastic time at Tallaringa, it’s certainly a lovely place to escape to and we found solace in the surroundings! The spa is a particular highlight, many a nice glass of port with fruit and various other delicacies were enjoyed there… ) The accomodation was exceptional value given the ambiance that was created, it really made us feel as if the rest of the world didn’t exist for the time we were there. We’d strongly recommend to anyone who asked to take some time out down at Tallaringa, as they are sure to enjoy themselves while there.”

“We came here for 2 nights to celebrate our honeymoon. Margaret and Garry were fantastic – gave us champagne to celebrate, left heaps of information with us as to various places of interest in the vicinity, and helped make our stay exceptionally comfortable.
We have stayed at a lot of little ‘minibreak’ places over the years, and Tallaringa was the best we’ve ever experienced. Margaret and Graham go above and beyond the call of duty in regards to making people comfortable and content – and I would recommend these cabins to anyone.
The price is well below most luxury cabins I’ve inquired about; the bedding and bed is comfortable, luxurious and had a beautiful view of the countryside; the cabin itself is warm and cozy; a fully equipped kitchen makes life easier for those who don’t want to eat out every night; there are many dvds and boardgames to keep yourself entertained; and the shower and spa are both glorious and you’ll never want to leave!”
